Operator- Paving

Job Responsibilities:

Operates the paver and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Performs daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment. Inspects, cleans, maintains, and repairs equipment, using machines' hand tools, or report malfunctions to supervisors. Must work quickly, productively, and safely to meet production goals as outlined by the Field Manager, Superintendent, and /or Project Manager. Lines paver appropriately to the work area and ensure proper application of the asphalt, smoothing it evenly to the desired height, width, and depth. Actively participates in job-site and safety meetings and all Company related training. May operate trucks to transport equipment to and from production sites as required and assist in the maintenance of all machinery. Must partner with other crew members and perform additional tasks of other positions as instructed by the Crew Leader, Field Manager and/or Operations to ensure daily schedules are met. Must always maintain a courteous and professional manner with supervisors, co-workers, customers, and the public.

Must pass drug screen & have a valid driver's license. Must have good driving record and be able to be insured to drive by Kleenco's insurance provider. Must have 2 or more years experience as an Operator. Job requires 100% travel, must be willing to be out of town for extended periods of time. Must be flexible with hours and shifts. Working time often depends upon customer requirements. Willing to obtain a CDL (Class A) license.

Education and/or Experience
2 or more years experience operating a Paver.

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction blueprints, operation plans, and standard operation procedures. Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; ability to accurately measure and calculate square footage requirements for materials; Ability to work and maintain within a budget and understand how costs for labor and materials are allocated to a project.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve problems as they may arise to create a win-win for Kleenco and Kleenco's customer. Must also be able to adapt to unforeseen situations and resolve any issues so job can be completed to customer's expectations.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a basic knowledge and general understanding of how to use apps on an Apple iPad and iPhone.

Work Environment
Job requires 100% travel. Travel from jobsite to jobsite is based on the work orders that come in from the customers. There are also no set hours for a project to be done; this also depends on the customer and the job at hand. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
